For over 2 years, 13cabs has partnered with 7-Eleven to offer exclusive discounts. Our ongoing collaboration allows drivers to save 6 cents per litre* off the pump price on Mobil quality fuel at 7-Eleven.

To claim, simply fill up at any 7-Eleven in your 13cabs or Silver Service branded vehicle and uniform, and present your Driver ID card at the checkout.

*Excludes LPG. The 6cpl discount is not available in conjunction with Fuel Price Lock.

Frequently asked questions

What documents do I need?

To get started you’ll need the following documents:

  • Your driver’s license
  • Your ABN (you must be GST registered)
  • A passport quality photo of yourself
  • Your taxi license

If you don’t already have a taxi license from your State Government regulator, select your state to obtain your taxi licence now:

Does it cost anything to join 13cabs?

It’s totally free of charge to join 13cabs as a driver, however if you want to operate your own vehicle, you’ll be required to pay monthly network fees. You’ll also need to purchase at least two uniform shirts before we can activate your account.

NSW drivers are also required to pay $90 to purchase their Driver ID Card. However, $45 of this fee will be refunded after 6 weeks and once 80 jobs have been completed,  along with the completion of Endorsed Driver Training. 

Do I need training to drive with 13cabs?

To drive with us, you must complete our induction training, which is free and conducted online.

Endorsed Driver Training should be completed 6 weeks after driving on the road as a taxi driver.

Additionally, Values Training and Wheelchair Accessible Taxi Training is also available as needed.

Do I need my own car?

If you don’t have your own car to drive, we can assist you in finding an Operator to drive for.

Do I need insurance?

Yes. All taxis must be insured to operate. We recommend Cabsure, specialist insurance brokers for the taxi industry.
