Australia’s largest taxi network 13cabs has arrived in the Garden City to deliver a better resourced and wider-reaching taxi service for the Toowoomba community.
13cabs has begun introducing its distinctively branded fleet to provide Passengers with a better alternative in the region.
13cabs Queensland General Manager, Matt McLachlan said “Toowoomba has experienced strong growth and the need for more transport options is well and truly here, so we’re excited to be partnering with local drivers because it means we’ll be able to better service the community and help get locals from A to B.”
“The 13cabs booking app has just been activated for Toowoomba and we’ve got a great bunch of drivers from the local community ready to provide world-class service” says McLachlan
Rockville local and 13cabs driver, Shane Ward said “By tapping into the incredible resources of a national company, I’m proud to be a part of a workforce of local drivers who know the town like the back of our hand. It’s a win-win for the community and the economy here in Toowoomba”
Alongside a professional cab service, 13cabs also brings a contactless delivery service to the region for food, parcels and medical supplies through the launch of 13things. 13things is a service providing local businesses and the community to get their essential and non-essential items instantly delivered.
“We’re proud to provide locals access to Australia’s most recognised taxi brand and, in turn, our world-class technology and safety systems” Mr McLachlan said.
From today people can book 13cabs by using the 13cabs app or phoning 13 22 27.
With the introduction of 13cabs in Toowoomba, we also aim to provide job opportunities for people wishing to drive taxis. They can register their interest by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 1800 546 687
