FIXED-PRICE 13CABS SERVICE LANDS IN BATHURST AHEAD OF THE 1000
Bathurst taxis are getting an upgrade just in time for the Repco Bathurst 1000, providing riders with cost certainty through the launch of a new 13cabs bureau.
The local operation begins with six vehicles, including two Wheelchair-Accessible Taxis, and will operate under the 13cabs brand for app, online and phone bookings. Fixed-price taxi fares apply when booked through the app or website.
Local bureau manager Arshdeep Singh Nat said the priority was to be live before the city’s biggest week on the calendar.
“We’ve worked hard to get this service up and running before the Bathurst 1000, because we know how important it is for locals and visitors to have access to reliable and affordable transport,” Ash said.
“With 13cabs, passengers know exactly what their fare will be before the trip starts. That certainty, combined with the convenience of booking via the app, web or call centre, is a game-changer for Bathurst.”
Operating as an independent bureau on the 13cabs platform, the fleet aims to improve reliability for locals while offering accessible options for those who need them.
The service caters to diverse needs, including MAXI TAXI options for larger groups, baby seat taxis for families, taxi with pets for animal lovers, and parcel delivery for businesses and residents. Whether you need airport transfers to and from Bathurst Regional Airport or a ride around town, the fleet is ready to serve.
Bookings can be made via the 13cabs app, online or by calling 132227.
For a city that sees its population swell every October, fixed pricing and app-first booking should cut queue times and bill shock.
Now riders can lock in a fare, arrive, cheer, and get home without the guesswork.
